I'd appreciate if someone confirms it works on computers other than mine. Here's a script that downloads the installer and extracts the relevant files. It uses file-roller though (gnome's unarchiver), wish I knew what it does to extract the exe or cab files. You can also kill friendly NPCs, something I learned when I walked to the next screen, saw a figure standing right in front of me, and instinctively fired my gun, only to realize that it wasn't an enemy. It's helpful in combat and it looks great. There's a button that makes the character shoot behind him without looking, so you don't have to turn around. The thing I like most so far are the small details put into the game. You also get bombs that you can throw at enemies, but the bombs are also used to open doors so I guess it's possible to screw yourself over. Your main weapon is a shotgun and you can take cover to avoid bombs and enemy projectiles. I'm not very far in, but it seems that the combat is based around small, one-on-one encounters. If somebody had told me that this was a modern game but with retro graphics I totally would have believed them. Like eitaporra said it feels like the first Prince of Persia where all your movements feel very deliberate and weighty, but the platforming doesn't requiring the timing and precision that made Prince of Persia difficult. I just downloaded and played a little bit, and it's actually quite good. Submit a new deal Submit a question/PSA Reddit New Deals Popular Deals Meta
